I used Tom Rostron for an air duct cleaning and had a great experience. The technician, Kyle K, was very knowledgeable and so friendly and respectful. I liked how they emailed a picture of the technician before he came. The pricing for the service was also very fair. I had first received a quote from another company that was charging almost twice as much for the same service. After having such a great experience, I now plan to use Tom Rostron for any air duct cleaning moving forward and also plan to switch to them for my annual HVAC services as well as any plumbing and electrical work.

I want to thank Rostron Mechanical for the superior installation of a new Inverter Heat Pump.John Fels came to our house and analyzed the situation. He provided a price quote that we discussed in detail and John modified until I was happy with the equipment selection and the price.Chris arrived and demoed the existing system with such ease it was amazing. We were lucky to have mild weather and a few days later Rich and Christian arrived to perform the actual installation which took roughly 3 days.I was extremely impressed with Rich and Christian for their professional care, expertise and attention to detail. Rich kept me informed every step of the way and took great pride in his work.I had a choice of 3 different HVAC contractors but I selected Rostron and I'm glad I did. Oct 2024: Joe and Matt were just at my house to remove and cap an old toilet in the basement. They were neat and efficient and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Tom Rostron for HVAC and plumbing. I haven't yet used their electrical services, but am sure the electricians are also very good.2024: Edited to add: this time, we used Tom Rostron Plumbing service to install a new toilet. Omar and his helper (didn't get his name) were professional and knowledgeable. They also cleaned up the area and discarded all debris. Very good pricing, also.2023: Edited to add: the post below this one was from two years ago. Since then we have used this company. Yesterday Ryan J came to check on our condensate pipes . He was on time, knowledgeable, and explained what he had to do. The pricing was fair also. I highly recommend this company for HVAC needs.2021: When needing a new furnace (two of them since we have 2 zone heat), I called Tom Rostron first, as I've used other HVAC companies over the past twenty years and found this company to be the best at answering my calls, diagnosing and fixing the problems, and at a fair price. The sales person, Bill S., came over and spent an hour inspecting the two existing furnaces, measuring, etc, and took the time to explain everything to me. I found the pricing very reasonable. The employee who installed the two furnaces took a day and a half and did an excellent job. He (Lou, I think), left the area around the furnaces clean. The great part is that the upstairs furnace is now heating difficult-to-heat rooms. This means that I finally have furnaces that "fit" the areas they are to heat. This was a seamless, no-stress, installation from start to finish. I highly recommend Tom Rostron Co.

Tom Rostron Co. recently installed my Daiken Variable Speed HVAC system. I first met with Josh Holland, the Project Manager, to discuss which new system would best meet our needs. He not only was very knowledgeable and professional but extremely patient in answering my questions and addressing my concerns. He put in considerable extra effort to ensure that I received the system I had decided I wanted and has always been available to continue to respond as he oversaw the entire process from start to finish.The installation team of Rich, Giang, Garrett, Mike K, Christian, and Chris did an outstanding job of removing my old system and installing the new one. They were very thorough, competent, polite, and patient and left the area cleaner than it was before they started.I couldn’t be happier with the new system and it was performing just as Josh said it would. We would like to thank the Rostron HVAC team for excellent customer service and installation on our new Daikin HVAC system.Josh Holland, the sales representative we met with was very knowledgeable on explaining the differences between the Daikin HVAC systems vs. the other leading HVAC systems they handled. Josh made it clear that the Daikin system was a better fit for us based on Daikin’s newer technology, reliability and the warranty versus the standard 10-year warranty that other HVAC manufacturers offer. Along with the added rebates and promotions, it made sense that going with Daikin you got more for your money.Josh also explained the importance of the installation on any new HVAC system. He ensured us that the Rostron installation team and ongoing service techs have extensive training and experience to detect and prevent any major issues down the road. We plan on adding their ongoing maintenance plan offered with various discounts.We also want to thank Sean, the installation team lead on our job who oversaw the other techs. They worked wonderfully well together, setting up the new HVAC system and removing our existing HVAC system leaving the area clean and completing the job in a timely manner. Each team member knew what needed to be done next and went and did it. Our home was built in 1964. We have a gas hydronic hot water baseboard heating system. We live in a small ranch and for years have tried to cool the whole house with window units and fans. There was of course no ductwork in the house since it is hot-water baseboard heat. We had thought about putting in central air for years, but just kept putting it off. We had used Rostron years ago when we needed a new controller for our boiler. So, we decided to give them a call and asked for an estimate on what it would cost to have a separate HVAC system installed in our home while still keeping our separate boiler system. Joey Holland, who is their Estimator/Project Manager, came out the next day and what immediately stood out to us was that he arrived at the exact time that he had quoted for the visit right down to the minute! This doesn’t always happen these days. Joey went through the whole house and took measurements. We could tell immediately that he knew his stuff. He explained all the different systems that they had to offer and what would be best for us. We also had the original 100-amp electrical service to the home with the original fuse type electrical panel in the basement. We wanted this electrical service to be upgraded to a 200-amp service and to have a modern electrical circuit breaker panel installed. Joey came back with an estimate that same day via email and the estimate was broken down to show each unit or equipment that would be included with the new install. The estimate was very detailed. After going over the estimate that Joey had provided for us, my wife and I decided to do the complete upgrade and install. So, on August 19th, a crew of about 5 of their techs, of which I tried to remember most of their names, (Matt, Mike, Christian and Giang) came out and started their work. The biggest event for day one was upgrading the electrical service to the house. Rostron’s electrician, Giang, was just fantastic and very considerate. He was able to give us power for one window unit in our bedroom to keep us comfortable since the rest of the house had reached a temperature of 84 degrees. His work, along with the others was done to perfection! I am very fussy and what also impressed me was that all the new fixtures including the new conduit running down the side of my house was installed to perfection using a level. Giang was able to restore total power to our home by that evening. The next day, the guys came out to continue the install in the attic along with installing the new ducts in each room of the house. Giang also came and did his finishing work to complete the electrical upgrade. By the evening of the second day of the install, we had for the first time a central air conditioning system!I would highly recommend Rostron Premium Home Services! Their professionalism and knowledge is top notch! You get a company that stands by their work and everything is done with pride. I have never experienced such professionalism like this company has to offer. This was one of the best decisions that my wife and I have ever made. My whole family is just thrilled with the work by Rostron Premium Home Services!

On a 90+ degree day our a/c shut down. We called the company who installed and serviced our unit to check it out. Their technician checked out our system for 1.5 hours and said that he couldn't fix it. We called Tom Rolston Co.. They sent a tech named Ryan. He worked on the system for 1.5 hours. Called Company early in the morning by 1 o’clock in the afternoon I had a guy at my house put little booties over his shoes so he wouldn’t get my floor dirty went outside. Found the problem in the air conditioning unit within five minutes, fixed it and the air conditioning was working perfect it was a gentleman And very very professional. Highly recommended this company.
