As a member of Rostron Premium Home Service, you receive priority on emergency service request service calls. Members move ahead of non-members on our schedule. Expect emergency services for members to be handled within a 24-hour window, you will hear otherwise if we are unable to get out to you within the 24-hour window.
If nonmembers call outside of regular business hours for emergency service, it’ll be $199. After-hours is any time after 5 pm and before 7:30 am. Our business hours are 7:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. If you schedule a service during those hours, it will be a $99 diagnostic fee + repairs if needed.

My Thermostst needed to be replaced, I called on the evening 0f 3/26 and The woman told me a man would be here between 7:30 and 9:30 A.M. the following day. Ryan called me at 7:20 the next day and said he would be here in 20 min. When he arrived he was very informative as to what the problem was. 5 stars are without question not enough in rating this company. I had a 45 + year old cast iron oil burner which I converted to a high efficiency gas burner. From the initial meeting my sales representative, John, explained all of my options In a professional and easily understood manner. I received estimates from two other companies and I’m thrilled that I decided to go with Rostron. I have five zone heat and this job took exactly 3 full days to complete. The two technicians who did this job, Roland, the team leader and Shane not only made this installation less stressful, but they respected my home and maintained their workspace efficiently and always cleaned up at the end of the day. My elderly parents woke up on one of the coldest days of the year with no heat. They called me in a panic and I told them that I would call Tom Rostron Co. because I have used them in the past several times myself and they are extremely knowledgeable and professional. The technician arrived shortly after my call and quickly diagnosed the issue. The technician was very polite and explained everything very clearly and my parents felt very comfortable with his expertise. Thankfully it was an easy fix. The filter was clogged and restricted the flow of air through the furnace causing the system to work harder and overheat leading to the system shutting down. The technician went above and beyond to ensure that their heating system was working perfectly before he left. He was very respectful of their property and left everything clean and tidy as well. The technician recommended a service membership program offered by Tom Rostron Co. which is a routine maintenance plan twice a year and they will come out and perform HVAC maintenance. It’s perfect since my parents are older now it’s one less thing for them to remember. If they only had this contract to begin with, this service call could have been avoided and they wouldn’t have had to layer up until it was fixed. I decided to purchase a service contract as well with Tom Rostron Co. because it’s better to be safe than sorry. If you are looking for an honest and professional HVAC company, then look no further. Recently had new central 2-zone AC installed. Ryan from Rostron came out first thing this a.m. to check over our HVAC. Figured after 8.5 years, a check-up might be a good idea. Guess we should have done sooner, as we were concerned about our humidifier. Evidently, it was never hooked up by our builder and their HVAC Innovative! Feb 2025: Joe and Will repaired/replaced plumbing under the sink. Very professional and neat.Oct 2024: Joe and Matt were just at my house to remove and cap an old toilet in the basement. I haven't yet used their electrical services, but am sure the electricians are also very good.2024: Edited to add: this time, we used Tom Rostron Plumbing service to install a new toilet. Omar and his helper (didn't get his name) were professional and knowledgeable. They also cleaned up the area and discarded all debris. Very good pricing, also.2023: Edited to add: the post below this one was from two years ago. Since then we have used this company. Yesterday Ryan J came to check on our condensate pipes . He was on time, knowledgeable, and explained what he had to do. The pricing was fair also. I highly recommend this company for HVAC needs.2021: When needing a new furnace (two of them since we have 2 zone heat), I called Tom Rostron first, as I've used other HVAC companies over the past twenty years and found this company to be the best at answering my calls, diagnosing and fixing the problems, and at a fair price. The sales person, Bill S., came over and spent an hour inspecting the two existing furnaces, measuring, etc, and took the time to explain everything to me. I found the pricing very reasonable. The employee who installed the two furnaces took a day and a half and did an excellent job. He (Lou, I think), left the area around the furnaces clean. The great part is that the upstairs furnace is now heating difficult-to-heat rooms. This means that I finally have furnaces that "fit" the areas they are to heat. This was a seamless, no-stress, installation from start to finish. I highly recommend Tom Rostron Co.

I recently had my heating and hot water system die on me during some of the coldest nights of the year so far. I called them up they had a tech to my house within a few hours- Rick was honest and professional but unfortunately for me- my system would need replacing. Before Rick left, he had already called and scheduled a project manager to come to my house right away and give me estimates to replace the system.Joey, our assigned project manager, came and gave us our options and worked with us on the price. He clearly outlined everything that would be done and answered all of our questions. He explained how the process would work and even made sure the crew would bring space heaters for us so that we wouldn’t be too uncomfortable during the night. Very thoughtful and it made a huge difference.The next morning, an installation team consisting of Randy, James, and Garrett showed up on-time and ready to tackle this big job. They were extremely professional, courteous and respectful the entire time. It took two full days, and at the end, Randy made sure I understood how the system worked and what maintenance would need to be done on it going forward. The team cleaned up after themselves so well that my garage is probably cleaner now than before they started. Randy also noticed that a valve leading to an outdoor spigot was open in freezing weather and in danger of breaking- he closed it for me and made me aware of it so that I could reopen it in the spring.I’ll definitely be calling them again if I have any other problems in my home, they’ve earned my trust.

Rostron, sent out plumbing team 2, Joe. Joe did an outstanding job. He was friendly and polite. He listened well. Asked any questions that might help him diagnose the problem. He was thorough and conscientious. Neat and careful. After checking the tank in several ways, Joe decided the mechanism needed a flapper with a float. He was persistent in setting the flapper, chain and especially the float to make sure it did the job. He tested it to his satisfaction that it was working properly. Joe takes pride in his work and seemed that he wouldn't give up no matter how long it might take. In this case, Rostron charges a flat fee. So Joe, wasn't just using time to add to an hourly rate. At this time, the toilet isn't leaking. Joe did a fine job! Thanks, Joe and Rostron.

Adding to my previous review, I just had another extremely positive experience with Giang, the electrician, from Tom Rostron Home Services. My electric heat was not working. I called first thing this morning. In less than an hour he was here. One of my thermostats was bad. In no time at all he diagnosed and fixed the problem. Giang is the best!I have used Rostron Home Services for my air conditioning and electrical needs several times. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with this company. For my AC, I have a service contract Yesterday, I had their electrician run wires and install two ceiling fans. It is not the first time Giang has done work for me. He is personable, professional, very neat, and does excellent work. I highly recommend Tom Rostron and his team of professionals!

I am very impressed with Rostron. We had a completely useless dryer vent that snaked though our wall and up into our garage roof. We'd spent days wondering what to do, worrying about how to access without taking down walls and ceilings. Josh came around an hour after I called the Rostron office. He very quickly assessed the situation and concluded it would be best to add a new accessible pipe. Several days later, a Rostron Service Engineer came round and did the complete job in half a day. It looks surprisingly good (he even patched the wall round the old useless vent) and, most importantly it works beautifully! They are not cheap, but they are the best!

I had a wonderful first experience with this company. The level of professionalism was evident from the moment Suzanne took my call. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and very efficient. I received an email before the tech arrived with his picture, so I would know who to expect. (Cannot be too careful these days!) When Kyle arrived (on time!) He was knowledgeable , courteous, and very polite (added bonus…he put his shoe covers on before entering my home.) We had used two other companies over the past three years for our furnace/AC service and were disappointed with both of them and looked to go in a different direction, so we requested the service of Tom Rostron Company to check our furnace. The unit is only three years old, running fine but seemed to be taking a long time to warm our house. A thorough system check by Rostron's technician Ryan revealed some of the settings in the furnace and the thermostat were not set properly when the furnace was installed, and these issues were never corrected by the two previous companies. Ryan corrected these issues and made the proper settings to the furnace and the thermostat. Ryan also provided a detailed explanation as to what the problem was and what he did to correct the issue. We have already noticed an improvement of the performance of the furnace. I can't say enough about the quality of service from Tom Rostron Company. Used Rostron Premium Home Services for my Heating and Cooling Maintenance. Technician Rick B. came and did a Winter Tune up on my furnace and installed two Nest Thermostats. His work was professional, meticulous and efficient and completed to satisfaction. I recommend Rostron for their variety of home services.

I can not say enough about this company. We have used them several times and they are exceptional. They tell us what the issue is and have never tried to inflate a problem or tried to sell us anything that we don't need. I've heard stories from friends who have had other HVAC companies come out who try to sell them everything from service contracts to entire systems that they don't need or want. Tom Rostron Company has integrity. They are honest, have great technicians and come when you need them. Highly recommend!

My furnace was acting up and I called Rostron on Saturday night. By midmorning Sunday, the technician was at my house. He was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. Within a half hour, the problem was identified and fixed, and at a reasonable rate, especially considering it was a weekend.All in all, I highly recommend Rostron!!!
