Fantastic. The rare contractor that adapts and completes quickly.I had had several contractors out to quote but only Rostron adapted to what I wanted and would handle the permits.Once approved the unit and electrical was completed a week quickly and efficiently. Our home was built in 1964. We have a gas hydronic hot water baseboard heating system. We live in a small ranch and for years have tried to cool the whole house with window units and fans. There was of course no ductwork in the house since it is hot-water baseboard heat. We had thought about putting in central air for years, but just kept putting it off. We had used Rostron years ago when we needed a new controller for our boiler. So, we decided to give them a call and asked for an estimate on what it would cost to have a separate HVAC system installed in our home while still keeping our separate boiler system. Joey Holland, who is their Estimator/Project Manager, came out the next day and what immediately stood out to us was that he arrived at the exact time that he had quoted for the visit right down to the minute! This doesn’t always happen these days. Joey went through the whole house and took measurements. We could tell immediately that he knew his stuff. He explained all the different systems that they had to offer and what would be best for us. We also had the original 100-amp electrical service to the home with the original fuse type electrical panel in the basement. We wanted this electrical service to be upgraded to a 200-amp service and to have a modern electrical circuit breaker panel installed. Joey came back with an estimate that same day via email and the estimate was broken down to show each unit or equipment that would be included with the new install. The estimate was very detailed. After going over the estimate that Joey had provided for us, my wife and I decided to do the complete upgrade and install. So, on August 19th, a crew of about 5 of their techs, of which I tried to remember most of their names, (Matt, Mike, Christian and Giang) came out and started their work. The biggest event for day one was upgrading the electrical service to the house. Rostron’s electrician, Giang, was just fantastic and very considerate. He was able to give us power for one window unit in our bedroom to keep us comfortable since the rest of the house had reached a temperature of 84 degrees. His work, along with the others was done to perfection! I am very fussy and what also impressed me was that all the new fixtures including the new conduit running down the side of my house was installed to perfection using a level. Giang was able to restore total power to our home by that evening. The next day, the guys came out to continue the install in the attic along with installing the new ducts in each room of the house. Giang also came and did his finishing work to complete the electrical upgrade. By the evening of the second day of the install, we had for the first time a central air conditioning system!I would highly recommend Rostron Premium Home Services! Their professionalism and knowledge is top notch! You get a company that stands by their work and everything is done with pride. I have never experienced such professionalism like this company has to offer. This was one of the best decisions that my wife and I have ever made. My whole family is just thrilled with the work by Rostron Premium Home Services!

On a 90+ degree day our a/c shut down. We called the company who installed and serviced our unit to check it out. Their technician checked out our system for 1.5 hours and said that he couldn't fix it. We called Tom Rolston Co.. They sent a tech named Ryan. He worked on the system for 1.5 hours. He was joined by his coworker Mike. The two of them fixed the problem and we had a/c. Thank you Rolston.

Called Company early in the morning by 1 o’clock in the afternoon I had a guy at my house put little booties over his shoes so he wouldn’t get my floor dirty went outside. Found the problem in the air conditioning unit within five minutes, fixed it and the air conditioning was working perfect it was a gentleman And very very professional. This is a new review to add to the one on this same review below. Chris and Christian just installed a brand new AC/furnace system in our house. They were both amazing. Now its like five or six separate people that I have dealt with that have been amazing.I have dealt with two of the techs there. They were bother VERY knowledgeable. It is redressing to deal with people that know what they are doing. Just yesterday July5th I had a checkup with Joe B. He is outstanding. Won't sell you something you don't need. Very thoughtful and thinks things through especially with technical stuff. I request him every time.

Finally, someone was honest. I had two companies tried to charge me $10,000 to replace an air conditioning unit. I knew that wasn't right. Evan S came along, told me I needed a couple of pounds of refrigerant, added it, and my house is cool again for a few hundred dollars. $10,000 for the other companies might have been a quick win, but that is not how you build lifetime customers. Our experience with Rostron Home Services was excellent from first contact to help with rebates. When the old HVAC system failed shortly before a heat wave, we expected a miserable wait for a replacement. Project manager Joey Holland came promptly to explain options. The projected start date proved pessimistic: The installation crew -- Shawn, Matt and Mike -- came days earlier than expected and completed the new work in 6-7 hours: removal of the old system, installation of new A/C, furnace, pump, thermostat and chimney liner. They left work areas immaculate. The office staff was outstanding. People answered the phone, fielded questions, and set things in motion. We could have shopped for price but opted for Rostron. The experience left us with an excellent, whisper-quiet system that seems a superb value.

In a pinch, Evan responded within minutes early on a Sunday morning to quickly evaluate the situation and get a temporary fix in place on the spot...he then got Josh involved who was right behind with a comprehensive plan within only a few hours...and then Shawn and Garrett executed the plan perfectly just days later to get us back up and running! 2024: Edited to add: this time, we used Tom Rostron Plumbing service to install a new toilet. Omar and his helper (didn't get his name) were professional and knowledgeable. They also cleaned up the area and discarded all debris. Very good pricing, also.2023: Edited to add: the post below this one was from two years ago. Since then we have used this company. Yesterday Ryan J came to check on our condensate pipes . He was on time, knowledgeable, and explained what he had to do. The pricing was fair also. I highly recommend this company for HVAC needs.2021: When needing a new furnace (two of them since we have 2 zone heat), I called Tom Rostron first, as I've used other HVAC companies over the past twenty years and found this company to be the best at answering my calls, diagnosing and fixing the problems, and at a fair price. The sales person, Bill S., came over and spent an hour inspecting the two existing furnaces, measuring, etc, and took the time to explain everything to me. I found the pricing very reasonable. The employee who installed the two furnaces took a day and a half and did an excellent job. He (Lou, I think), left the area around the furnaces clean. The great part is that the upstairs furnace is now heating difficult-to-heat rooms. This means that I finally have furnaces that "fit" the areas they are to heat. This was a seamless, no-stress, installation from start to finish. I highly recommend Tom Rostron Co.

Tom Rostron Company went above and beyond! I had some issues with a mini-split AC and they did were on top of the repair even going as far as replacing it when all else failed. The technicians were helpful, friendly and polite and a pleasure to have in my home. Needed a service call as my older AC unit was beginning to freeze up and might be low on refrigerant. Evan S. was dispatched in the late afternoon and was able to diagnose the unit as being a couple of pounds undercharged. He recharged the unit and was able to get it back in service in under an hour. Just had my New HVAC system installed by Rostron. New high efficiency condensor, furnace, heat pump system, plus more! Couldn’t be anymore please!! Highly recommend this company. Starting off the project manger (Joe) came out and explained exactly what my options are and what we could do. Extremely professional and definitely had tons on knowledge!! He helped though the entire process! Was able to get me 0% financing over 5yrs! He took care of all rebate paperwork and explained everything very well. He also dropped off a loaner A/C unit for us until we had the install done! He even stopped over twice the day of the install which was on a Saturday, to see how things were going and brought the install crew lunch. Mike and his install crew were amazing! Came at 8am as promised very professional, efficient and absolutely killed the install all in one day. Their work definitely showed their knowledge and craft in this business! They took there time after a long hard day of the install to walk me through the new system and explain exactly how it all works. Just over all great experience with the Rostron crew! And to top in off. My new system took my house from 77 degrees to 70 so n about an hour! Again I highly recommend this company for your HvAC needs.

Our two units were struggling to keep our house cool and we thought (hoped)it was because they needed coolant. Had our previous contractor come out and add coolant, but it didn’t work and they said we needed new units but a that a sales manager would come out to talk to us. They couldn’t come out for a week! So we called TomRostron Co. and Joe came out in two days to look/assess our needs. He was very knowledgeable and not pushy. When Sean, Garrett, and Rich came out they were all very polite, respectful of our property, and extremely neat. They got the job done quickly and explained what to expect, how long it would take, and even helped us set up the app so we could control the unit when we aren’t home if we want! Used Tom Rostron for the first time due to an HVAC issue and could not be more pleased. They are the most professional service company that I have ever dealt with. I called for service at 8 AM and Mike the technician was at my home by 12:30. Prior to Mike's arrival I received a text, an email, and a call from Mike that he was on the way to my home. My wife loved that Mike put on booties prior to entering the house so not to drag any dirt into the home. Mike was very professional, diagnosed this issue, gave me a price, and fixed the issue within 30 minutes. I will not hesitate to use Tom Rostrum in the future.

We had our HVAC system installed by Tom Rostron in 2000 and have used their excellent maintenance service ever since. We have had very few problems over the years, but whenever a problem arose Rostron turned up very promptly to handle it. When the heat wave started last week, our air conditioner wouldn’t work. Rostron immediately arranged for service and a repairman was here an hour later. Joe diagnosed the problem, presented various options to us, and perfectly fixed the air conditioner. We highly recommend Tm Rostron.

A+++ Tom Rostron Co., Inc. saved me! I purchased a fully renovated home with an old 31 year old HVAC system that stopped working immediately after I closed on the home. TRCo came in right away to assess the situation and we decided the right thing to do was to completely replace the HVAC system replace all the old components with an amazing Diakin system (which is incredible, takes up much less space and you can't even hear it when its running, it's so quiet!!). The two service pro's were exactly that, PRO's! They walked me through their process, informed me it would be a two day job and they were On-Time, Professional, Clean, and knew what they were doing! I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Tom Rostron Co. to anyone who needs any HVAC maintenance, work, replacement, etc!! Thank you Tom Rostron Co!UPDATE! 6 months after the remarkable full HVAC replacement and installation from Tom Rostron Co, I asked for them to install Daikin ductless system in my garage. Very responsive. Josh helped us with our install and was reachable at all times, making sure everything went as planned.
